Ibizkus

Beautiful wine from a beautiful Island.

Over the past 18 years, Ibizkus has grown to 55 hectares of vineyards on Ibiza, around 40% of the island's registered vines, and remains dedicated to the recuperation and preservation of the autochthonous Monastrell (aka Mourvèdre) and Malvasia grape varieties. These two varieties account for 97% of Ibizkus' production: both for its monovarietal reds and for its flagship Ibizkus rosé and Totem rosé wines.

The Ibizan Malvasía, known locally as "Grec," is the primary grape variety used in Totem and Ibizkus' white wines: characterised by a bouquet of honeysuckle, jasmine, and tropical fruit with flavours of ripe pear, citrus, and peach. Malvasía whites are typically light and crisp with mild tannins and low acidity.

All Ibizkus wines are made from dry-farmed, chemical-free grapes, hand-harvested and fermented with natural yeasts. As a winery, they believe in less is more when it comes to sulfites. They use just enough to produce stable wines, prevent microbial growth, and allow the wines to improve with time in the bottle. The sulfite levels are below the mandated levels for biodynamic wines!
