Cristina Calvache

High Altitude wine, made with love.

Innovation and tradition define the family-run winery in Alboloduy, a town in the Alpujarra region of Almería. The vineyards sit at an average altitude of 1,100 meters above sea level. This altitude imparts a distinctive character to the wines, thanks to the unique soil and climate, as well as environmentally conscious viticulture practices. They use no pesticides or herbicides, only organic fertilizer.

A story based on the raw materials extracted from our land, combined with careful work processes and the effort involved at each stage, results in truly special wines.

The effort and passion that winemaker Cristina Calvache has put into her high-altitude vineyard, along with minimal intervention in the winery, has freed the land and made it soar.
