Barbazul Tintilla De Rota 2024

One of Spain's most endangered grape varieties. Tintilla de Rota is a rare indigenous red grape from the coast of Cádiz, Andalucía, and the 2024 vintage is a stunning showcase of everything that makes it extraordinary.

Medium-bodied with a deep cherry-red colour, the nose is dominated by ripe blackberry and black fruit, accompanied by spicy notes of liquorice and pepper, with a cocoa background from careful French oak ageing. On the palate, it is fresh and flavourful with a very pronounced yet beautifully balanced acidity, resulting in a light and elegant mouthfeel. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant varietal aftertaste.

This is a rare Spanish red wine you won't find on the high street, a bottle that tells a story of conservation, craftsmanship, and the extraordinary terroir of Cádiz.
